In response to a question about whether they test their products or ingredients on animals, Peach & Lily confirmed that they do not. Suppliers of the company also do not conduct animal testing on their products. They also do not allow their products to be tested on animals when necessary. Last but not least, they do not sell their products in any country that requires animal testing such as mainland China.
Based on our standards, Peach & Lily qualify as cruelty-free.
What prevents cruelty-free brands from selling in mainland China?
There is still an animal testing requirement for all imported products sold in mainland China’s physical stores.
All imported products must be tested on animals prior to market, and non-routine post-market tests may also be performed on animals in response to customer complaints.
You should note that airport shops or stores in Hong Kong are not included in this policy.
It is also possible to sell products online and ship them to mainland China without animal testing.
How Are China’s Animal Testing Laws?

Some ordinary cosmetics imported after May 1, 2021 will be exempt from animal testing if certain conditions are met. Although, in 2022, most imported cosmetics will still be required to undergo animal testing in most cases.
There is a possibility that Peach & Lily is not fully vegan
A cosmetic company that is 100% vegan can be considered vegan as a whole or a specific product can be declared vegan.
It is important to note that not all of the products of Peach & Lily are vegan. They do, however, have a few vegan products.
