There is no animal testing on LA Girl’s products and ingredients. The company and any suppliers they work with do not test on animals, although they will allow animal testing if required by law. Additionally, the company does not sell its products in mainland China or countries that might require animal testing.
LA Girl meets our standards for cruelty-free products.
How about China’s laws concerning animal testing?
Certain ordinary cosmetics imported after May 1, 2021 may be exempt from animal testing under certain conditions. Nevertheless, most imported cosmetics will still be subject to animal testing in 2022.
Although LA Girl confirms that they do not sell their products in mainland China, they are not required to conduct animal testing there.
LA Girl is Not 100% Vegan
A cosmetic brand can be vegan if the entire line is or if a specific product is.
LA Girl does not make all of its products vegan. Nevertheless, some of its products are suitable for vegans.
The makers of LA Girl makeup brushes don’t disclose the kind of animal hair they use for their natural bristles, as their makeup brushes are made with “synthetic/natural” fibers.
What are the vegan products offered by LA Girl?
Here is the list of vegan products I received from LA Girl.

The products of LA Girl are made in what country?
“Meanwhile, depending on the series, some of the L.A Girl products are manufactured in the United States and others overseas.”. Because most of our raw materials are sourced from the United States and Europe, we are able to ensure that most of our products are made in China. Our products are only made with ingredients that have been approved by CTFA and FDA, which have strict guidelines to ensure the safety of the product. All of our products are tested to ensure a consistent and quality product. We are committed to ensuring the safety and health of our customers.”
Note: Animal testing is not required for cosmetics made in China. Mainland China’s animal testing laws require testing only for cosmetics imported and sold in physical stores.
